African Sunset with Bismillah
An impression of an African tree with a sunset was painted in acrylic on canvas. It is unframed with finished edges and is suitable for hanging.
My inspiration was an African sunset, which my father constantly reminds me has the most beautiful sunsets anyone has ever seen. Malawi, Kenya, South Africa, and Morocco are examples of nearby African countries, but I imagine them in my surreal mind of thought.
Using a paintbrush to colour the sky first with a mixture of red, yellow and white to bring a nice blend of the sunset impression. Then I started to paint the land in black, and then I painted the tree. Through these branches of the tree, I have created a message in Arabic "In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful".
To honour only one creature, this painting depicts a beautiful view of an African tree with a sunset. The creature of Adam, The creature of Noah, The creature of Abraham, The creature of Moses, The creature of Jesus, and The creature of Muhammad.
